MX67W and MR33 - SSID.

Hi.

Does anyone know if you can use the same SSID on a MXxxW's (MX with integrated WIFI) and MR's?

Or do you have to create seperate SSID on these devices?

Chris.

No, i believe it's OK!

I'm not sure, but maybe you have to whitelist the SSID's if Meraki different wireless-devices is not that smart and aware of each other. You do that under Wireless/Monitor/Air Marshal.

You can, but you should not.

The MX SSID is a rogue for the MR and both do not share any information. There will be no fast roaming between them and RRM does not know how to deal with that.

You shouldn't do this.  They two systems don't inter-operate.  If you do then make sure you disable Air Marshall for the MR otherwise it will constantly think it is under attack.

wasn't sure about that, thanks for shedding some light over this @PhilipDAth 🙂 I think this is something that should be observed!
