MS Teams Issue on MR57

Hi Guys,

 

I have an ongoing issue with my MR57 access points. Users are reporting that they have issues when on MS teams session. Sometimes their voice becomes choppy and their video becomes laggy. The issue happens on different platform (Windows and iOS) on different SSIDs. Also the users does not report any other issue other than MS Teams.

 

I checked on the Meraki dashboard, everything seems normal. No anomalies or whatsoever. What bugs me is that it only happens on Teams, no other applications. And multiple users on multiple platforms on different locations experiencing the issue every now and then. The current firmware running on my MR57 is 31.1.7.1. Tried to upgrade the firmware several times, but so far no luck.

 

Do you guys have the same experience? Any performance enhancement setting that I should have done? Thank you.

Have you had any recent network changes?

Have you tried creating a rule to prioritize traffic for MS Teams?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Hi alemabrahao,

 

The only network change that I did was the AP replacement from Cisco 3802 to MR57. Then the issue started to occur. Regarding the prioritize, no I have not. Is there something that I should be aware when making one?
