MR's with dual ethernet

Do these dual ethernet AP's allow for ethernet OUT to addtional AP's or networking?

i guess my question is can they act like a 2 port switch?

Hi,

Yes, a Meraki AP port (particularly on models like MR52, MR53, MR53E, MR84, and MR57 with dual Ethernet ports) can function like a 2-port switch, allowing you to connect wired devices directly to the AP and pass their traffic through its Ethernet port, provided you configure a "Port Profile" on the AP to enable this functionality; however, you must disable link aggregation on these models if you want to use the second port for wired clients instead of uplink aggregation.

The only Catalyst AP that includes dual RJ-45 interfaces is the CW9178.

And yes, it can use the second interface to extend the network.

Please share the model of CW access point.

MR supports the feature you want.
