MR Mixed Firmware Networks

Will installing a MR28 on a network that is currently all MR32s be problematic?

I think that It will be not a problem. Look this article:

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

The only possible issue might have is with WiFi6 clients that may prefer a weak signal from the MR28 as opposed to a stronger signal from the MR32.  You can disable the Wi-Fi 6 features if this ends up causing issues.  We have mixed networks and don't see any problems.

In theory yes and no, will depends on the feature set that you are using.

You are mixing models AND firmware since the MR32 will only run 26.8.3.

Might be a nightmare to troubleshoot issues which I'm pretty sure at some point will happen
