Logging guest wifi username/authorization email addresses?

Currently we have some home grown API integration that scours Meraki event logs for 802.1x auth success which tells us which of our employee's login to our SSIDs.  I would like to do something similar with the Guest sponsored wireless network we have but the event logs don't track/populate any email or username information.  Does anyone have a way or method of doing this?

I don't even see who authorized that device/user on the client details page anymore either. Wondering if that was a recent change Meraki made?

Meraki doesn't record sponsor email addresses in event logs. You also won't find guest identities (email addresses or usernames) in the logs.

Maybe Splash Access is a solution for you.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

I second the Splash Access solution.
