How much bandwidth (in Mb/s) is used for a certain website

Hello,

I'm new. i'm new to the Meraki tools.

I would like to know if we can put a probe to know the bandwidth used by a certain site. In Mb/s.

I didn't find on the Traffic analytics tab or Network-wide.

Can you help me ?

Thanks !

I don't believe there's a great way to do this through the dashboard itself. You may want to look at a Netflow configuration. In a nutshell, you'll tell your MX to send Netflow to a specified server/workstation with some Netflow parsing software on it (we use Solarwinds Netflow Traffic Analyzer). The software can then give you a rough breakdown of what traffic is passing through the MX, along with analytics like top talkers, top sources, top destinations, and specific information like throughput to/from a specific website or host.

You would need something like Meraki Insight to stand a chance of getting this info.

Maybe try this custom pie chart under network-wide > configure > general:

What goes in each field in Traffic Analysis Custom Pie Chat?

Here's the drop down.  Is that what you are asking?

For the OP's case I was suggesting they could put a hostname like www.espn.com or whatever they are interested in.

Thank you. I will try with an IP range.
