Extended / Delayed time for AP to regain access to cloud/dashboard

Starting recently (since last firmware?), if an AP goes down, it takes 6+ hours for it to regain access to the cloud/dashboard. Before, it was a matter of minutes.

I had 2 APs disconnect this week manually (redoing some ports in the switch), and upon reconnect (same port, same settings), it comes online locally (I can see blue light), but on the dashboard it shows offline for 6+ hours.

Any insights into this?

For me, It has been working fine.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

What does the local status page of the AP say when it is not connected?

Do the APs definitely have correctly configured and working DNS servers?

Is there any firewall that could be blocking their traffic?
