Will there be Staged Upgrades for Meraki Access Points?

Will there be a staged firmware upgrade for the access points in the near future?

That’s a very good question 😊

Different networks can be on different firmware versions, which makes it easy to have a test network, but I am sure they would prefer to keep all APs in a given network on the same firmware

I want to have staged accesspoint updates too!

With switches it works well.

Kind of a big deal

I've seen a few others ask for this as well.  I haven't seen anything on their changelog or beta firmwares though yet so I'm not sure if it's on their radar.

one can already schedule different dates for the upgrades to occur.  By "stage" are you referencing a set order/matrix to auto apply when new versions are released?

I believe the staged upgrades only work on switches.

I have "staged" upgrades to WIFI, switches, and FW's to different times and dates.

GO to ORGANIZATIONS-FIRMWARE UPGRADE...then ALL NETWORKS.

Time chosen will correspond to the timezone set on the network(s) chosen.

Hope this helps,
