Splash page parameters for clickthrough flow

Hello experts,

i am new to meraki and exploring different options to localize experience for a splash page based on where user is. Looking at developer documentation https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/captive-portal-api/ i see sign-on flow, meraki cloud sends ap_name and ap_tags parameters to captive portal that we can configure for AP to tell what location it s, however i dont see same for clickthrough flow. I do not want clients to login but want to know which access point they are trying to connect so i provide them localized experience. Is there a way to identify location of user when they try to connect to particular access point. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I found this Meraki KB https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/MR_Splash_Page/Splash_Page_Traffic_Flow_and_Troubleshooting about Splash Page Traffic Flow but I am not sure if this is exactly what you are after.

Thanks,

Thanks. It has good technical information. Wish the parameters were not blurred in images as that can have answer to my question. Guess I have to try it out myself and capture the wire logs. 🤞
