Re: Public Wifi for a town

Depends on what type of antennas you want to use. We don't know much about town but how many AP's are being deployed?

Are you providing the internet and infrastructure? If so what equipment are you using at the DMARC?

This town did it and seems quite happy with the decision. It's a good webinar and I'm sure you could reach out to them about the project

Re: Public Wifi for a town

I wouldn't personally use MESH for a large number of users.  Every MESH node you go through halves the thorughput.  Also every problem that every upstream MESH node is having gets repeated to the MESH node you are on.

I would run an fixed line service service to every AP or group of APs.
