Portal Permission

Is it possible to give Admins with Read Only some permissions to allow them to Apply the Allow List Policy on Client device within the Wireless site of the portal.

 

There seems to be only Full Admin and Read Only and we do not want all of our Service Desk to have full admin to the site as there is no control over what they could do and we would like to restrict the level of access they have as you can with most systems.

Monitor and Guest Ambassador do not allow this either.

 

If this is not possible is seems a little strange, because you are then limiting who can administer the system.
There are some people who you want to create Networks and SSID's etc and there are some who you want to just allow them to apply policies to users devices.

Permissions and privileges in the dashboard aren't that fine grained.

Generally speaking, your options are read-only or full admin access.

You can do some slightly more fine grained controls for individual networks within an org, or management of certain switch ports but that's about it.
