MR74 gateway with MR76 as repeater

I have a need to extend wireless to an outdoor area where an existing MR74 isn't quite close enough. Is there any issue with a newer MR76 being a repeater off of the MR74? AC power is available but there is no wired network infrastructure, otherwise I'd just do another gateway.

Shouldn't be an issue mixing different models of Outdoor Meraki AP's to "Mesh" with each other. Which antennas are you planning on using on the two AP's?

The current MR74 has MA-ANT-20 omnidirectionals, and that's likely what I'll use on the new one as well.

I would use the new better AP as the wired one, and move the MR74 out into the field to be the MESH repeater.
