Here to help

getting duplicate packets when pinging any network wih Meraki switches

we have started to introduce Meraki Switches in our networks.

when I ping a remote subnet( from a Cisco Nexus switch) that has Meraki I get duplicate packets, even I ping the Cisco router on that subnet

other subnets at the same site are ok

Any ideas?

Is there some sort of proxy replying?

( router no Meraki)

Hi Philip,

Ignore my last reply.

The problem is the PBR I have setup on the Nexus switches

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

Are the Meraki switches doing routing, or what is doing routing at the remote sites?

Do you go through the Meraki switch to ping the router?

Hi Philip,

No, we Have ISR4000s doing the routing for the 7 Vlans however we do have one routed IP for our voice Vlan to allow IGMP snooping. All the Meraki APs and switches have a dedicated management Vlan Also see the same problem with the Meraki Camera Vlan. Don't get the problem on any of the other non Meraki  Vlans.

the other thing, I only see the problem when pinging from the Nexus switches in the DC.
