You have Cisco Catalyst switches in your network that are eligible to be monitored - erroneous

I have a client network with a few 2960's and am seeing this notification:

"You have Cisco Catalyst switches in your network that are eligible to be monitored on Meraki Dashboard."

Which of course isn't correct, the 2960's aren't eligible.

Not a huge PITA, but certainly misleading. Will the mechanism used to detect eligible switches be updated to more accurately detect the type of equipment?

@OVERKILL : well these are old devices not managed through DNA C as well. The criteria is to managed iOS-XE devices but not the old devices with IOS platform.

so the notification should be like if you have Cisco iOS-xe devices you may eligible to monitor 😀

Exactly, if you have 2960's, you shouldn't be getting this notification, lol.

Yeah but somehow Cisco thinks organizations moved to iOS-xe which is not the case yet. So Cisco need to edit that notification
