Will MS350 switches reboot when stacking connection plugged in?

Just to give a background. I have 4 MS350s in a stack. The last MS350 needs to be connected to the top of rack MS350. I just acquired a longer stacking cable that will reach from the last MS350 to the top MS350. All other switches in the stack are connected successfully. If I add this last switch in the bottom of the rack into the stack, will that cause the whole switch stack to reboot?

If the switch is already in the stack, and you are just missing the cable to complete the ring, it won't reboot.

Otherwise, I would plan for the downtime.

@PhilipDAth Good to see you around! Thanks for the response. Switch is configured to be in the stack/is a member of the stack, so I'll assume no issues.

Thanks! 🙂
