Switch Clone

I see the benefit of switch cloning and see that it can take all port level config and layer 2 configs in the cloning.  The Meraki docs say the switch has to come from the same switch model.  Does this mean series or physical model? 

I'm looking at trying to clone 52 ms390's to ms355's after all the issues from the ms390s.  Is this possible or will I have to manually rebuild these switches?

No, it has to be the same model (you can clone 225 to 250, but that is an exception).

I would get the port config via the API and push it back the same way.
