Stacking switches and aggregates to switches

Just to confirm: If I have 3 MS225 switches physically stacked with stacking cables at the back, do I need ethernet cables going from one switch to the other?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
