Stacking MS425 switches and aggregating their ports

I know that it is only possible to aggregate ports across switches when those switches are physically stacked together using their stacking port. However...the MS425 has QSFP ports for stacking which are "general purpose" (sorta).

If I have a pair of MS425 switches stacked with a 40 GbE QSFP+ CSR4 (Copper direct-attach 40GBASE-CR4 cables) will I still be able to aggregate ports acrosss those switches.....and a secondary question, "is that the right cable to stack MS425 with?"

Apologies if the question looks basic, I'm a Catalyst engineer from 'way back 😄

Short answer: yes and yes.

MS425 supports flexible stacking via front SFP ports. Once stacked, they work just like any other, including cross stack link aggregation.
