Stack master

I am looking at the switch stack document https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Stacking/Switch_Stacks and I am trying to understand how a master is elected and what happens when the master fails. Would it be different for the MS390?

Hi ,

There is no manual priority to elect a master switch. To my knowledge the switch with the lowest MAC will be the master.

Thanks guys. So I'm guessing the switch with the next lowest MAC would take over once the master fails. How much different would it be for the MS390?
