Red status

Hi

When a device is in red status in dashboard, what does it mean ?

 - Connectivity lost to Meraki cloud and users are affected

 - Connectivity lost to Meraki cloud, and users not affected

 - Device down, users affected

thanks,

Device down meaning users are affected because it doesn't reach the cloud.

There's a good doc on how each device will act while it has no cloud connection, assuming it has power: https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Behavior_during_Conn...

I think switches will continue to pass traffic if they're able to, but that's based off my experiences with a wireless bridge. I misconfigured something and my l3 switch lost cloud connectivity. My MR (connected to that switch) continued to pass data across the bridge.

Things will still operate but you won't connect to the internet. Local networking will still work as @Nash .
