PORT STP Change for printer

hello everyone,

why would a printer be causing this issue:

how would I/should I stop fix it?

Could that be related to a Eco Energy Saving feature ?  This seems to occur every 30 mins.

Does this happen on every printer ?

this is my first meraki switch... so it only has a minimal amount of things plugged in.

just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to cause damage!

The logs are simply indicating that the interface towards your printer is ''flapping'' . Spanning-Tree is simply putting the interface in the forwarding state when the interface is Up/Up and disabled when the interface is down/down.

The ''issue'' is not Meraki related. This is a normal behavior for any port.

You know have to find why the port is flapping every 30 mins but this is related to the printer.

strange... the user had rebooted the printer and now that error is gone.
