Native VLAN shows in the allowed VLANs - Is this Ok?

Good morning all,

I have a doubt, when I'm setting up the port on one switch, I have Native VLAN 100 and configure the Allowed VLANs 110,200,300 & 500.

But then, the native VLAN 100 is also showing in the allowed VLANs.

Is this ok? I thought that the native VLAN was implicit in the allowed, not showing it.

Thanks for your attention

Regards

@Hector_Laya if the native VLAN was not allowed then it would not work. This is why it needs to alsonbe in the allowed list.  Are you saying that you didn't add it but find it there,  if so this is what I would expect to see, it is simply confirming that by setting native it also sets it as allowed.

IIRC, Cisco legacy switches also automatically allow the native VLAN over the trunk. Don‘t know how many folks would have shot themselves in the foot otherwise (me included). 😉
