Mirror port, but i can´t access the ip device i put on destination port

Hi all.


I configure a raspberry with ntopng community on mi network.

I mirrored a one port to the port that i have the raspberry. The device doesn´t respond to the ping, and i lost the web console access.

If i unmirror the port. start answering the ping and i can access to the web console.

What am I doing wrong?

Technically you are doing nothing wrong. It works as expected that the system on the destination port doesn't have network connectivity. On Catalyst this can be achieved, but not on MS. You need to access the device on a second NIC.
