MS355-24X + MR55s | Orange Activity Light

Hi there,

I am noticing when I plug in the MR55s that the activity light on the MS355 stays orange and does not resolve to green.

When looking at the port on the dashboard I see the port resolving to 5Gbps and the virtual dashboard port is green as expected. There also seems to be no bandwidth limitation (10/100Mbps) on the client side.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

The different light colours usually reflect different port speeds, do other 5Gb ports show a green light or also orange?

All 10 of the MR55s that are deployed show an orange light (switch side) which seems unusual.

That makes sense, I'd be pretty sure the orange is a speed indicator.  On the MS225/210 models orange and green when solid simply indicate 100Mb or 1Gb.  I'm pretty sure the 220 is the same so it would make sense that the faster models are similar.

For a test, force one of the mr55 ports to 1Gb on the switch and see if the light goes green.
