MS120-24 Port X designated→disabled & port: X, old: 1Gfdx, new: down every 8 hours every day

Hi All,

I get hundreds of events logged, as seen below, where only port 18 changes status every 8 hours every day.

Currently it has no impact on the user experience because port 18 is connected to a passive MX device.

 

In the logs I can see it on the MS120 switch:

I checked the cables from the Meraki Dashboard, and its all OK. 

 

Any ideas?

You need to raise a case with Meraki Support.   My guess is that the standby MX is trying and failing to upgrade its firmware - or something along those lines.   Support should be able to dig further.  Suggest calling on the phone - it'll likely save a bunch of time.
