MS Stack Member Move
Looking for a bit of guidance since I have not found any Meraki documents for this specific instance. I am needing to move a stack member from one stack to a newly created stack.
In theory it would be,
- powering down the single switch that is going to be the new stack
- powering down the existing switch stack
- removing the stack member
- plugging the stack member into the single switch
- bringing everything up
- going to switch stack overview and checking for detected stacks
- provisioning this stack
Since there isn't an existing member that would be replaced, i would think there is no reason to clone the migrating stack member. There is also no Layer 3 so the stack member is only operating at a layer 2 level.
So I guess I am really looking for any gotchas anyone may have experienced if any.

I would add an extra step or two after this one:
- removing the stack member
- remove stack member in the Meraki Dashboard
- factory reset removed stack member
