Limit Client Bandwidth Usage

 Hi All ,

I have a wired client connected to an MS225 switch that is consuming a significant amount of bandwidth, as indicated in the Summary Report. The traffic is categorized as "Non-web TCP."

Since I’m not using an MX appliance, is there a way to restrict this client’s bandwidth usage  on the switch may be ?

Looking forward to your guidance.

Hi ,

Won't be possible to apply restriction from the switch.

Those restrictions are only applied to a client connected to a MX or MR.

As mentioned by Raphael, this is not possible on the Meraki Switch. Do you have a firewall on your network? You can create a QoS rule on your firewall.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.
