Firmware Upgrade failed...

Good morning. Firmware update for my MS225-48 is failing:

"Firmware Upgrade failed due to the following node_groups: ... Firmware versions starting with MS 15 require Meraki devices to connect to the Meraki Cloud via TCP port 443. One or more of your Meraki devices are unable to do so."

My device is on MS 14.3, and confirmed 443, 7734, and 7351 are allowed through the FW.

You'll need to open a Support case and they can help you with this one.

Kind of a big deal

The most common cause of this (in my experience) is there is another device in the same network that is offline.  If so, remove the device from the network, wait 2 hours, and then you can schedule the upgrade, and then add back the original device.

The various causes of this error are being fixed. A number of fixes already went out over the past month that resolved many of these events. It's important folks report this into Support so any remaining issues around this can be resolved.

Thanks for the reply. We don't have any offline devices. I've opened a case.
