DHCP on L3 Switch vs MX

Are there any pros and cons of running a DHCP server on a L3 Switch versus running it on Meraki MX?

I plan to move a few existing scopes from a central Windows Server to the core switch or MX at a specific location.

The L3 switch has the following limitations.

  • No L7 rules.
  • Limited L3 rule count
  • No object-based rules.
