Create or delete VLANs and/or Routes - effect to stack?

Dear Community,

may sound like a silly question. But I'm not sure what happens to my running meraki stack and all the connections on it, whenever I:

- delete an existing VLAN interface or create a new one

- delete an existing route or create a new one

And for sure - I know - if those interfaces and routes are still in use - it will have an effect 🙂 What I'm a bit afraid of: does changing routes/vlans in general mean i.e. all trunks go offline for a second?

Thanks in advance.

Obviously, if something is configured to use the L3 VLAN or L3 route it will be affected.

Otherwise, as @KarstenI says, there should be no impact.

Unless you are facing a really nasty bug, these are actions that don't cause any disruption.
