Cross them. A to B, or B to A, both are fine. But they should be crossed, as also described in the Stacking document https://documentation.meraki.com/MS/Stacking/Switch_Stacks#Physical_Switch_Stack_Configuration_Steps

Crossed is preferable for future expansion. In a two switch stack it doesn't really matter. But, if you ever add a third switch it requires slightly less cable moves if the starting point is a crossed arrangement.
