Alert or notification when MS can not reach Radius server (802.1x)

Hi,

We have a project to deploy 802.1x on several offices around the world on MS switches.

Radius servers used for NAC are not local to the offices and we need the critical VLAN in case the server become unreachable.

Is there an option to be notified when the switches on the remote office are not able to reach the radius server?

Thanks for support

Hi ,

This is one of the options : either check the syslogs for that event ( link below ) , or get the devices that are alerting via API :

Hi,

It appears that it is not possible with API. Can't find any API call to get the radius status

You won't get the status via API. You will get the  device status which will be ''alerting''. You will then need to find what kind of alert since it is not specified via API. This is the only way at the moment.
