9300L stacking ports

Hi,

I have read that 9300L doesn't come with stacking adapters for connecting stacking cables. I can see stacking ports in the dashboard. Does this mean that adapters are installed since the stacking ports are visible in the dashboard?

No.  The dashboard shows things as though every single module option was installed.

This is another of the issues that to me makes the C9x00 switches not quite ready, hopefully it and the DHCP server limitations will be fixed before the MS250/35x switches go end of sale in the next year or so...

If you didn't install the switches yourself you should visually check if the switches have the stacking adapters installed.

The distributor where we buy the switches for our customers always use the spare part version of the SKU for modules and adapters.  So we always get the switches without the modules installed and have to screw them in ourselves.  They have these really long bolts and it's fun wrecking your wrist if you don't have an electric screwdriver on hand 😉
