mounting height?

What would be the suggested max mounting height for an MV71?

I have an request to install security cameras on the roof of a building that is 40ft tall to capture video for the parking lot.

Re: mounting height?

Camera 1/3.2” 5MP (2560x1920) progressive CMOS image sensor

3 - 10mm vari-focal lens with variable aperture f/1.3 - f/2.5

Variable field of view:

28° - 82° (Horizontal)

21° - 61° (Vertical)

37° - 107° (Diagonal)

Remember to test the camera zoom as well in the settings to see how the camera will look from the lot.

Re: mounting height?

If you have a floor plan of where you are installing the camera, you can use the Meraki Camera Blueprint URL below to plan and check what the picture quality will be at different distances from the camera.
