What to do with NFR MV21?

We have two MV21 that were used for testing / demo / examples for clients.

Obviously bought using NFR terms.

Any idea what I can do with them, apart from electrical recycling? I don't think I'm permitted to sell them.

No immediate intention to buy new MV cameras.

Thanks,

Chris

You can donate or even sell. It's okay to sell, just make sure you remove it from your inventory so the person buying it can acquire a license to use it.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

I would hand it down to a junior engineer/intern so that (s)he can mess around with the Meraki camera. If you still have active Licenses for it, these might be able to be transferred.

All code examples are provided as is. Responsibility for Code execution lies solely your own.

The Cisco NFR program requires that you maintain ownership for 12 months.  After that you can sell the kit.

"Resale of Products. Channel Partner must retain ownership of products
purchased for a minimum of 12 months. After the 12 month period, Channel
Partner may Resell Products as used equipment following Cisco’s Hardware
Inspection and Software Re-licensing Program:

As per my knowledge If selling is off the table, consider using them for internal monitoring or donating to a non profit or school. This way they can still be useful without recycling just yet.
