MQTT support for JWT (Google Core IoT)

Hi, I use MQTT server in Google cloud for several projects and I would like to use it to integrate Meraki MV sense and in future (when available) MT sensors as well.

Is there any plan to support JWT device authentication (orX.509v3 certificate)?

The current MQTT implementation is for "local" deployments and doesn't account for Cloud MQTT solutions ... a bit strange coming from a Cloud solution 😉

Did you figure out any solution to this? We're also hitting the wall on using Meraki camera MQTT with AWS IoT MQTT because of the authentication limitations.

Hi Meraki team, any news here? More than one year as passed without any news on this.

I would like to use MQTT for the sensors and this is really needed on my side.
