MT sensor Integration with IoT builder

Greetings,

I was going through the IoT builder datasheet and which has a diagram that describes the implementation I am adding the picture below. My question here is how are we streaming the Real-time data? is it using streaming API or MQTT? Any documentation that will help me understand this better will be really appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Topic is covered here https://documentation.meraki.com/MT/MT_General_Articles/MT_MQTT_Setup_Guide. The sensor gateway (Camera or Access Point) is the one using MQTT to communicate with the MQTT broker.

Thank you for the quick reply, Ryan. I have referred to the document you shared and I understand the Broker & Gateway use MQTT. My question was about the "Real-time data" streaming between the MR/MV & the IoT builder also using MQTT? as shown in the picture attached with my question.

Yeah it would be using MQTT (AFAIK) because that's a streaming protocol. API isn't a stream and rather a push/pull type service.

Getting noticed

Hi, the communication between MT and IoT Builder is through MQTT for the data and API for the configuration.
