vMX configuration

Hi community,
Has anyone of you already configured a vMX in routed mode in Azure?
I am not getting accurate statements from Meraki support.
Here's the deal:
we want to use the vMX (M) in Azure in routed mode.
(with firewall function)
There are two networks configured in Azure:
10.10.16.0/28 for the vMX (WAN)
and 10.10.17.0/24 for the VMs
The support told me that I should use on the LAN side
the default Meraki network (192.168.128.0/24) should be used.
Over the site-to-site VPN I would then need to use vpn subnet translation, correct?
Or how did you solve this?

The VMX in routed mode does not support firewall function at this time.

Did you read this?   :   https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Other_Topics/vMX_NAT_Mode_Use_Cases_and_FAQ

Thanks for your support.

Merkai Support wrote me the following:

You may use your vMX as gateway/firewall via NAT/Semi-Routed mode but it is limited as there aren't any VLAN interfaces.
