hello
we are using mx84 sdwan in our main branch and in our sub offices we use mx64 sdwan
in mx84 we set vlan10 192.168.10.x/24, and vlan20 192.168.20.x./24
can i cascade or trunk this in our mx64 , using the sdwan/vpn connection
Solved! Go to solution.
thanks , is there any solution that i can use the other vlan in sub offices? via meraki sdwan?
No, the Meraki SD-WAN is an L3 VPN connection. It doesn't bridge layer 2.

There is not in the Meraki world, but realistically it is a very poor network design to extend layer 2.
It's typically only seen with datacenter interconnects using a technology like OTV or VXLAN.
Is there a specific reason you're looking to extend your layer 2 between sites?
our voip , need to be in the same lan segment , our company uses yeastar pbx , its ipphone doesnt connect to the yeastar server if the ip's is not same with its lan segment , btw thanks for the info
Hi,
maybe you should get some VoIP Service consulting to get a scalable solution instead of doing network experiments. 🙂
thanks , 😅
As a layer 2 passthrough device: Passthrough or VPN Concentrator Mode
