meraki mx84 and mx64 vlan trunking

hello

we are using mx84 sdwan in our main branch and in our sub offices we use mx64 sdwan

in mx84 we set vlan10 192.168.10.x/24, and vlan20 192.168.20.x./24

can i cascade or trunk this in our mx64 , using the sdwan/vpn connection

No, the Meraki SD-WAN is an L3 VPN connection. It doesn't bridge layer 2.

There is not in the Meraki world, but realistically it is a very poor network design to extend layer 2.

It's typically only seen with datacenter interconnects using a technology like OTV or VXLAN.

Is there a specific reason you're looking to extend your layer 2 between sites?

Hi,

maybe you should get some VoIP Service consulting to get a scalable solution instead of doing network experiments. 🙂
