Yes, this is possible.
Navigate to Security & SD-WAN > Configure > Firewall > Layer 3 > WAN appliance services.
In the field for Web (local status & configuration), enter "Any" to allow access from any remote IPs (or enter address ranges in CIDR notations separated by commas).

Is the MX has the WAN using NATed IP? If not, take a look here:
Network-wide > Configure > General > Device configuration
You may also need to enable the remote status page (not just local), from the Network-wide Settings page.
You don't need this setting enabled in order to access the WAN IP of the MX remotely.
Hm.. You're right, @jimmyt234. Good catch.
The setting applies to accessing the local status page on LAN devices that you are not directly connected it. E.g accessing the local status page on an Access Point that you are not currently connected to, but located somewhere else on your LAN.
It does not reflect on the Remote Status Page on the Meraki MX.
