I know it's not ideal to shove SMB traffic over VPNs, but in the past I've been able to achieve good throughput. My problem is I see a lot of TCP retransmits, and throughput peaks around 15MB/s if I'm lucky, more often than not it's around 1.2MB/s-7.5MB/s
Right now on OPNSense I have it configured to use MSS at 1360. This is the best performance I've been able to achieve. Wireshark is still showing plenty of TCP retransmits though. How can I determine the most optimal settings? My understanding is that Meraki is configured to cap all tunnels at 1400 MTU right?
