Snort rule whitelist in IDS/IPS not working

We are trying to whitelist a specific snort signature. However even after adding it to the whitelist in Security & SD-WAN > Threat Protection >  Allow list rules. 

Even after adding an exception, nothing seems to happen. Any ideas on what we could do? 

Note: We have an MX250 and I am a full org admin.
