SNMPv3 Network-wide with LogicMonitor

Hi,

I've opened cases with both Meraki and LogicMonitor previously but just curious if anyone from the community has SNMPv3 working using direct / internal polling between LogicMonitor and Meraki? (Network-wide settings not Org wide)

Per the Meraki docco, you set a username, which is the security string in logic monitor and the password you set in Meraki is both the Auth and Priv token strings in logic monitor. This is also limited to DES for privacy and SHA for auth.

For the life of me I can't get this working, I keep getting auth errors yet I've followed the documentation exactly!

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I don't have any specific knowledge around LogicMonitor.

Based on your comments I'm guessing you've seen this Reddit thread but in case your haven't.

Hi mate,

Yep, been there, despite what that reddit article says, they do document (now at least) that they use DES here - SNMP Overview and Configuration - Cisco Meraki Documentation.

No dice following this so far.

Have you added the LogicMonitor IP address to the SNMP field on the Firewall page?

Hi mate,

Thanks for the input, I'm doing this with internal polling not external, so network-wide settings instead of org, org is where you define an IP, no option for it under network-wide
