SD-WAN license required for basic feature - crazy

This was posted in the Feature Annoucement section but I couldn’t comment there.

Craziness that a basic feature requires the most expensive MX license.  We have a number of customers who are already using MXs who would benefit from this functionality but yet we’d be expected to tap them on the shoulder for additional costs!!

I agree.

I'm pretty marginal on the value of the SD-WAN licence already.  It's cheaper to by Advanced Security+Insight.  The licence is like aimed at people who want the most expensive option even if it doesn't make sense.

I'd say the number of customers prepared to buy SD-WAN+ and try beta firmware will somewhat limit the take-up... to pretty much 0 😱

What are you saying Charles....you're not prepared to spend anymore money on a feature you should have anyway....?
