Reporting of AnyConnect VPN Clients

Is there a way to schedule a report to run nightly which will report on AnyConnect VPN connection events.   

I know I can go into the Security Event Log, and select the Event Type "All AnyConnect VPN" or  "AnyConnect VPN Client Connected or Disconnected",

We are looking to have this automated so we can track logon attempts,

You need to use the API to do this and filter on the event log.
