Question about how dynamic DNS works on Meraki.

Below is a picture of a failed ping to a dynamic DNS, followed by a successful ping to another dynamic DNS. My question is this: Can this be an ISP DNS problem? Often we get an "unable to resolve lj-0X-xx" alert in our systems.

Probably yes, it seems that name is not registered.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

It has happened before that the name registration takes a while.  Like 30 minutes or so.
Usually the first time a MX network comes up the dynamic-m address is available within a minute.

Always make sure you test different dns servers.

If it still doesn't work, you can try by disabling and re-enabling the feature on the MX status page.  Or by changing the name.

If that doesn't work then you'll need the good ol' support.
