Primary uplink status change Frequently

Hi Kudos, 

 

we are using MX64W and now facing issue , now daily we found the Primary uplink status change log frequently which is disrupted the user.

daily will happen more than 5 times.

anybody knows how to fix this, and can help to explain what is the condition the uplink will change?

Hi,

 

These primary uplink logs indicate that the connection is failing over to the cellular. If you looked at the uplink statistics of your Appliance, you will see historical information regarding ping to 8.8.8.8 (by default) and its latency. If you are seeing packet loss and it is consistent with those event logs, then please check with your ISP as you may have an issue with your Internet connection.

You can also add the gateway IP on Uplink statistics so that it would tell you whether you are losing LAN connectivity or only to 8.8.8.8 when you are seeing these events.

It can also happen if the link is overloaded and dropping packets.
