Meraki warm spare Configuration

I am planing to configure meraki warm spare. I have following doubts

1. Both Meraki devices should be identical ( Hard ware and configuration )

2. Can i use same Public ip in both devices

3. can i use same Lan interface ip in both devices?

2, yes. But the (private) ip address  of the mx WAN port itself has to be unique.  / You can configure  a VIP if you want (3rd address needed)

3, yes, this  will be done automatically when adding the 2nd mx

Allow me to clarify this a step further.

Each MX WAN interface in use must have a unique IP address.  This might be a public IP address on a routed subnet (such as a /29) or a private IP behind something else doing NAT.

However you can also have an additional VIP - a shared IP address - that is controlled by one of the MX at a time.  If an MX or something fails the other MX takes over that IP.
