Meraki MX HA - Alerting on the failure of a Secondary MX WAN link

Hi all,

Can anyone advise if the Meraki dashboard will send an alert if a WAN link goes down on the secondary MX in a HA pair.

Not available natively in Dashboard today, although I believe it's a Feature Request with the Dashboard team, however you could perhaps leverage the API today to achieve this. https://n190.meraki.com/Daves-Meraki-Net/n/mwgsJb4b/manage/support/api_docs/v0#return-the-uplink-los...

Kind of a big deal

I think it doesn't. It only alerts when you failover from the primary to the secondary WAN uplink on the active MX, or if it fails over to the warm spare.

Have a built in alert of WAN1 or/and WAN2 uplink status could be very usefull too
